What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 15h00, check-out until 12h00.
How do I collect the keys?
Check-in is automatic. The keys are in a machine on Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho, 220, about 200 metres from the apartment — a five-minute walk. Collect them whenever you like, without depending on anyone waiting for you. We send the instructions by WhatsApp before you arrive.
What if I arrive late?
Not a problem. Because check-in is automatic, the time you arrive constrains neither us nor you.
Does the apartment have parking?
It does, and it is free. The Rua Comandante Rocha e Cunha car park is about 200 metres away — a two-minute walk — and costs nothing. There is no private space in the building, but few places to stay in central Aveiro can offer free parking this close.
How far is the train station?
Five minutes on foot. If you are coming from Porto or Lisbon you need no car to get here, nor to get around the centre.
How many people sleep in the apartment?
Two. The bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom.
Is the jacuzzi always available?
It is, and it is private — it sits on the apartment’s own terrace and is shared with nobody. You can use it at any time of day.
We ask you only one thing: from 22h00 the building’s quiet hours apply, and the hydromassage pump makes some noise. After that time, we would be grateful if you kept it switched off. It is the only request we make of you — and it is the same one we would make of the neighbours on your behalf.
Can I use the barbecue?
You can. It is on the terrace, with an outdoor table and chairs — you can have dinner outside without leaving home.
Are parties allowed in the apartment?
No. The apartment is for two people and sits in a building where people live; parties and events are not allowed. For resting, working and enjoying Aveiro as a couple, it is perfect.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, and at no extra charge. We do not charge an additional cleaning fee and we set no size limit. Let us know when you book so we can prepare the apartment properly.
Does the apartment have heating?
It does. The air conditioning works both ways, hot and cold.
Is there wi-fi?
Yes, free throughout the apartment. There is also a desk, if you need to work, and cable television.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Bookings are refundable up to 72 hours before the day of arrival.
How do I pay?
By Multibanco reference, MB WAY or bank transfer. To pay by credit card, message us on WhatsApp and we will send you a secure payment link.
